Info: Dark Industrial is a series of expansions for Toontrack’s EZD and EZK sample instruments. Both installments -drums and keys respectively- explore the cinematic and electronic edges of industrial (metal) music heavily inspired by the works of Trent Reznor, Lorn, and HEALTH. Across these titles, acoustic, organic, and electronic elements merge into a distorted, shapeless audio-visual landscape of viscerally dark and gritty textures.

Throughout 2023, we recorded a range of drum kits, electronic drum machines, and impact foley for the drum expansion, and deep-sampled several synth and modular sessions for the keys version. All of these recordings were extensevely treated and processed into immediate, genre-ready sounds for producers working in this sonic territory.
