Info: For our friends at Lunacy Audio, we developed this expansion for their excellent CUBE instrument. Astra draws heavily from the aesthetic of Jóhann Jóhannsson’s work, resulting in an organic blend of extended string techniques, modular synthesis, and experimental vocals. Our contributions spanned sample and instrument recording, sound design, and preset development. All string recordings were captured with the help of master cellist Maarten Vos at the Funkhaus studios in Berlin.
