Info: for Deutschlandfunk Kultur we wrote the music for this excellent, long-form investigative podcast by Lange Nacht about the current state of the German welfare system.
The score is factual and observant in nature, focusing on combining atmospheric textures and subtle rhythmic movement to enhance the storytelling without overpowering it. Using a blend of organic instruments and percussive sound design, the music creates a sense of intimacy and tension that mirrors the human side of the social and political themes of the podcast, without getting in the way of the vocal narrative.
